Ruinsara Lake is located in Swargrohini ranges and the place is married by Hindu Mythology. The Ruinsara Lake Trek is an easy 10 day trek in beautiful region of the Indian Himalayas. Numerous options are available to extend this trek over high passes into Himachal Pradesh or other valleys in Garhwal. This trek along the Tons River valley is surrounded by high mountains and dense forests. For bird watchers this trek is highly recommended in the pre Monsoon months and the post Monsoon season is ideal for appreciating wild flowers
Ruinsara lake trek with Har-ki-dun trek ::--->> Har-kiDun means The 
Valley of God This is the remote valley North West in Garhwal region, in 
Uttrakhand. This trekking trip for adventurous nature lovers, keen to explore a 
remote Himalayan valley, has all the classic attractions: ascending gentle 
trails through luxuriant oak and conifer forest and past traditional Hindu 
mountain villages to the alpine meadows where mountain peaks soar above 
Hari-ki-dun, The valley is dominated by Swargarohini (6252 meters). Though less 
known than the famed Valley of Flowers in the Indian Himalaya. This area harbors 
almost all the major groups of the high altitude flowers, birds and animals in 
the Himalayan zone.

  DAY 01: Delhi  Dehradun  Mussoorie
  Today we drive to Railway Staion & board Train to Dehradun, on arrival at 
Dehradun transfer to Mussoorie, is situated Shiwalik ranges of the Himalayan 
foothills.
DAY 02: Mussoorie  Sankari  Taluka
Today we drive to Sankari. Sankri and spend the late afternoon walking the last 
8-10 km. to stretch our legs after the drive and to break in our hiking boots! 
We camp near Taluka amid the wild roses and the deodar trees.
DAY 03: Taluka  Osla 
Osla has very dense forests of Walnut, Chestnut, Willows and Chinars. En route 
visit the Ghangore Village & local temple. The people are living a primitive 
life and still in many ways depend of forest for many of their basic needs.
DAY 04: Osla  Har Ki dun 
Today we continue trek to Har Ki Dun. The trail and surroundings is extremely 
picturesque. Little steams cross our path. As the trail climbs gradually through 
lush green terraced mountain fields and spotted with varied wild flowers. Har Ki 
Dun has a back drop of snowy mountain peaks.
DAY 05: Har Ki Dun  Borasu Pass  Har Ki Dun Trek
After breakfast continue trek for exploring the valley. Trek ascends gradually 
towards Borasu Pass. We wind our way high above the valley to pass and enjoy the 
beautiful surroundings. Later afternoon we retrace down to campsite.
DAY 06: Hari-ki-Dun  Dev Sach Trek.
From Hari-ki-dun we go back down the trail but then take the route to Dev Sach, 
a large meadow where local Gujar shepherds graze their buffalo.
DAY 07: Dev Sach  Ruinsara Lake
After breakfast from Dev Sach we walk towards to Ruinsara Lake. The trail takes 
us through mixed forest and meadows of flowers as well as some beautiful 
waterfalls. It is a delightful walk through the pine, fir, and juniper to the 
Lake.
DAY 08: Ruinsara Lake  Foot of Bali pass 
Today we steadly climb to foot or base of Bali pass. A majestic trio of Kalanag, 
Bander Punch and Swargarohini peaks stands in front of base camp.
DAY 09: Foot of Bali passes  Yamunotri, .
An early morning start trek for an exciting day for crossing the pass. A Bali 
pass is between the Tons valley and the Yamunotri valleys. From pass a 
magnificent view of Swargarohini peak. After crossing pass the trail is 
generally downhill to Yamunotri, the source of the river Yamuna.
DAY 10: Yamunotri  Janki chatti  Barkot 
Today after Yamunotri trek along Yamuna River fairly downhill to Janki Chatti 
than further drive to Barkot.
DAY 11: Barkot  Rishikesh
Today we drive to Rishikesh. Rishikesh surrounded by Shivalik hills of the 
Himalayas on three sides, is the place of sages and is considered a spiritual 
town on the banks of the River Ganga.
DAY 12  Rishikesh  Delhi
After an early breakfast, set out on a nostalgic return journey to Delhi, about 
230 kilometers.

untouched land is situated in the westernmost part of the Himalayas. And

gift supposed to have shared part of its history!!
DAY 1: Dehradun To Sankari Drive (210km) (7/8 Hrs) 
Dehradun to Sankri/Saur (1850mt) through the Yamuna and Tons valleys across the 
Yamuna bridge, Nainbagh, Nowgaon, Purola, Jarmola (Jarmola is one of the biggest 
and most beautiful pine forests in Asia), Mori and Netwar. Trek to a tiny market 
in Sankri, a few wooden huts serve simple yet delicious food. Dinner and 
overnight  Hotel.
Badasu Trek
DAY 2: Sankari To Taluka ,(3/4 Hrs) 
Taluka (1900m) on an even surface through thick forests, with a few waterfalls 
on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at the GMVN rest house or the Forest 
Departments rest house or in tent at the camping!
DAY 3:Taluka To Seema (Cheludgad 12km,(5/6 hrs)(2500mt) with packed lunch, to 
Seema (Osla 2559mt). You could either opt for the steep climb of Dhaatmeer 
village, which is a path with beautiful views, or just trek along the Karmanasha 
stream. Both the routes meet at Gangaar village. Dinner and overnight stay at 
the GMVN rest house or in tent. !!
DAY 4: Seema (Cheludgad) To Devsu Bugyal (6km)(3/4hrs) On Devsu (3000mt) morning 
at breakfast and with hot lunch camp side Trek Start to Devsu Bugeyal on a 
gradual ascent that offers excellent views of the snow-covered mountains and 
vast valleys with huge waterfalls. The area is home to a number of rare species 
of Himalayan birds Animal and flowers, and is full of birch and spruce. After 
the last steep climb of Dinner
and overnight Devsu Bugeyal camp side stay at tent !! 
DAY 5: Devsu Bugeyal To Ruinsara Lake by Trek(14kmt) (6/7hrs)(3500mt) On 
Ruinsara lake (3500mt) morning at breakfast and with Pack lunch Trek Start to 
Ruinsara Lake on a gradual ascent that offers excellent views of the 
snow-covered mountains and vast valleys with huge waterfalls. The area is home 
to a number of rare species of Himalayan birds Animal and around area Bhojpatra 
Tree and Dinner and overnight Ruinsara lake camp side stay at tent!! 
DAY 6 : Ruinsara LakeTo Odari By Trek (7kmt) (5/hrs) (3700) Morning to breakfast 
camp side and start to trek with Pack Lunch and Dinner and overnight stay at 
Odari Camp side !!
DAY 7: Odari to Pass camp By Trek (5 kmt) (7/8hrs)(4600mt) Morning to breakfast 
camp side and start to trek with Pack Lunch to Pass camp (4000mt). You could 
either opt for the steep climb of which is a path with beautiful views, 
Mountain. Dinner and overnight stay at Pass Camp. !!
DAY 8: Bali Pass to Damni (8/10kmt) ,(5/6hrs) (3500m) with packed lunch. Dinner 
and overnight  camp.
DAY 9: Damni To Yamunotri Temple And Jankichatti by trek (12km) (7/8hrs)
Day 10: Jankichatti To Dehradun by Taxi (200kmt)
